Wood Sardegna srl, a special purpose company of the French group ENGIE, has commissioned Impresa Manca to build the Porto Torres wind farm adjacent to the Monte Rosè quarry.
The Park provides for the installation of 5 5.88 MW wind turbines produced by Nordex.
The Purpose of the Work entrusted to La Manca involves the creation of:
- five foundations for the wind turbines, four of which built on 100 micropiles each with a diameter of 173 mm and one with a direct foundation. The diameter of the foundations varies from 20 meters for foundations on micropiles and 25 meters for the direct foundation with a volume of concrete placed in place varying from 720 to 750 cubic meters and steel around 100 tons per foundation
- assembly sites of over 3500 m2. to allow Nordex to install the components
- access roads from Provincial Road 34 up to the foundations
- laying connection cables, bare rope and fiber between the wind turbines and the Producer Substation under construction, the latter entrusted to the same Impresa Manca but by SAET spa which acquired a turnkey contract from Wood with routes also on provincial roads 34 and 57.
The work started in November 2022 and all the foundations were completed in the first ten days of March 2023
