In January 2022, Adelasia srl, a company belonging to the F.E.R.A. group, commissioned to Impresa Manca a project for the construction of the Montegreppino wind farm in the municipalities of Stella, Pontinvrea and Cairo Montenotte (SV). The construction site area is located on the hills at the base of which is the town of Montenotte Superiore. The project involved the construction of a wind farm through the construction of six wind towers and the adaptation of an existing substation. The new plant included the installation of three-blade wind turbines with a nominal power of 4.20 MW In the period 05 March 31 October 2022 Impresa Manca carried out all the construction activities of the wind park with foundations of the wind towers with a circular shape and a diameter of 20 m., the connection cable ducts of the turbines also from the park and up to the electrical station located in the municipality of Cairo Montenotte The wind farm was connected to the national grid with an underground cable duct with two sets of 300 sq mm² Nexans shock-resistant cables which run along the SP 12 and 29 for a length of 13.2 km. up to the substation. The earth and rocks obtained from the excavations were reused on site for the construction of roads and emplacements for the assembly of wind turbines.
